Hey everyone, we had a group trip to the internet this time so I am able to post another comment sooner than I thought! I miss you all! We went to church this morning at the Cochabamba International Church and I was thinking about all of you at home! The service was great! The sermon was about having an effective prayer life and how important prayer is in the armor of God! It was something I needed to hear! This afternoon after church we took a hike up the "Pairumani" mountain! It was beautiful! I felt like I was in the Lord of the Rings though. It was cool. I got some great pictures of the mountains! I was remiknded of how awesome God is! There is absolutely no way God does not exist! His creation is incredible! Cochaabamba is located in the valley of the Andes mountains so when we were up in the mountain, we could see the whole city! It was a site to see!
We have a busy week coming up! I get to work in the ER tuesday! that should be exciting! We are also going to the Orphanage again tomorrow and I with two other girls(one to translate) are doing a bible lesson for them! I am so excited! We also get to go shopping in the Cancha (the market) this week. That is going to be fun!
I want to thank all of you for keeping up with me and posting comments! It is so encouraging to here from home! It is only gonna get harder as time goes on! I can read emails from you, but I don´t have time to send email back, so this blog is my communication with you! Sorry about the spelling I have to type fast! they charge by the minute! I love you all and miss you already, but God is good and He is taking good care of me! I feel I have grown closer to Him tremendously in the 4 days I have been here! until next time
with love from a servant´s heart,
Colleen

How strange that your sermon was about prayer! So was ours! The church covenant says "I will show passion for my church by.. praying for her regularly"! Isn't that awesome. Yes prayer is something I totally need improvement in. I love the Lord of the Rings... so I would've loved God's view today too! Have fun in the ER! Talk to you again soon.
Hi girl,
I miss you so much. I will be praying that both our prayer life will improve. I know mine needs alot of improving. It's amazing how much I miss you; it's not like we saw each other alot when you were here. I know Zachary misses seeing his Colleen alot. I am glad things are going great for you. Have fun and enjoy God's beauty. I can not wait to see pictures.
Love ya,
Jennifer
WOW!
Sound like you are having a great time. Please what ever you do, do not eat the fuzz off of any of the blankets! Drink plenty of water but make sure you eat. I am glad that you are having lots of fun and getting to speak to others about the Word of Christ. Samo and Jimmy say hello.
Love Ya,
Jill
Colleen,
We are trying this blog thing again. We hope it will reach you this time, 'cause I have/we have this burning need to tell you WE LOVE YOU.
You better get this 'cause I can't afford to fly your Mom down there.
Your Mom and I have e-mailed you. Can't get use to writing something that other people get to read. That means I can't tell any of my awesome jokes (you know you miss them.)
Hey! I finally found a way to get a manual for the camera. We'll hang-on to it until you get back. Hope you figured out how to use the thing. Ha Ha.
I looked up a map of where you are. Are you actually in the city? Have you had a chance to eat any of the local cuisine?
I know you will not be returning as the same person. Just remember, when you get off of the airplane in Jacksonville, we will still know who you are!
I am so proud of you, for giving up your time to serve GOD by serving others. You are a special person; and I AM SO PROUD TO CALL YOU MY DAUGHTER. I pray for you all of the time. No matter where you are, I will always love you. You can't escape.
What are you learning about nursing? I can't believe you're going to be in an ER!! What an opportunity!!
What are the Bible lesson like? Are you able to get the kids to understand? Do they seem to want to learn about JESUS?
When you look up at the sky tonight (hint, hint) remember me!!
Hola Colleen, what a wonderful life changing experience you are receiving. Your growth in Christ will reward you for the rest of your life after this mission. Having been to many of the countries in South America, I know first hand the love an affection you are getting from the people there. It is truly amazing that those who have so little will unconditionally offer all that they have to share with others. Your seeing and experiencing this is God's gift to you.
Enjoy your time, but please stay safe! Remember too, that the higher up the mountain you go the thinner the air, so take plenty of breaks and DO drink lots of water.
We will keep you in our prayers and look forward to your reports.
In Christ's Love,
Ron Jetton

Que pasa hermana en Christo? Habla Espanol? Te gusta Jesus Christo?
Thank you so much for keeping us posted on how the Lord is working in Cochabomba with you and those around you. It was wonderful to read of how smoothly the traveling went for you. I am excited about how God is going to be glorified in your life while you are there. Also, I look forward to hearing about and witnessing the growth He causes in your life when you return.
Today is the big ER day you were speaking of in your last post. What did you get to witness? Any good pictures? Did you get to perform any procedures? How has it been with the other students your age that you have met? How about the Bible study you mentioned?
What have you been reading in the Scriptures? What have you been praying for?
If you have time, check out my new posts at robbingreece.blogsot.com. I have some cool language stuff on there for you.
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and my your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.”
1 Thessalonians 5:23, 24
being sanctified,

Colleen,
I can't believe Ron Jetton told you "hola" before I did! You are doing a great job updating all of us and I am extremely encouraged by the servanthood God has blessed you to perform. Looking forward to more updates about how Jesus is using you there.
Prayerfully,
Russ
Care Bear!!
We are so happy to hear about all the exciting things that you are being able to experience and learn. Thanks for the updates! We found Cochabamba on google earth and it's apparently a pretty populated place. Where are you in the city?
We are looking forward to all the pictures you are taking, except of course, the edema feet. (Such things are futher proof that your nursing career is a calling given to you by our Creator Himself!!).
We are praying for you daily, and also for the souls of those who you are ministering to, that your example may be a seed that leads to their salvation, for the glory of God!
"Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve." Col 3:23-24
We love you!!!
Lilly

Hey girl,
I was so shocked to hear that you went to Bolivia all by yourself! I am so happy for you. It's good to hear that you are doing great. Growing up, who would have thought how much we go our seperate ways, but i am so proud of you and glad that you are the person you are. I'm sure this is an experience you will never forget. Please be safe and i look forward to reading more about your trip. Oh yeah, drink plenty of water and try not to get bitten by that bug you were talking about. :)
Love ya,
Theresa
